The Founding of Panoplia Security Consulting
J. Taylor Booth, Jr., founder and co-owner of Panoplia Security Consulting, LLC started his career securing and protecting a portion of the southwest border between the United States and Mexico, as a Patrol Agent, United States Border Patrol (USBP). This was, in effect, the genesis of Taylor’s lifelong work in security and protection. His career continued with positions as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service (USSS) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), with detachments to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), United States Marshals Service (USMS) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). Leading up to the creation of Panoplia Security Consulting, LLC, Taylor was the leader of the physical security organization for one of the nation’s largest refined petroleum pipelines and critical national infrastructure.
Taylor’s core mission has always been security and protection. From securing our nation’s border, safeguarding our highest elected officials, protecting the general public, and ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and communities along the pipeline’s right-of-way, Taylor has created and implemented solutions for a myriad of security challenges.
His career led him to establish foundational beliefs and determined Panoplia Security Consulting’s focus is: People, Compliance Obligations, Environment, Assets, and Reputation. Taylor received his formal education by attaining an undergraduate degree In Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Finance from Georgia State University.
